ROCKHARZ 2020: Three new acts confirmed

Feb 17th, 2020 | von |

Dear ROCKHARZ community,

the days are getting brighter again, the temperatures are slightly climbing, and this means that ROCKHARZ 2020 is getting closer every day. We’re not quite done with the billing yet, but of course we’re working hard to deliver the party of the year in July, just like you’re used to. And today, we have three more acts for you!

LUCIFER

There are premieres that one is particularly looking forward to. LUCIFER have played their way into the long-term memory of everyone who can relate to Occult Rock and Doom Metal with their Heavy Magic Rock. Only released into the light of day in 2014, the multinational band can already look back on four albums and even made it into the charts in 2018 – “Lucifer II” is also simply a little masterpiece. We are happy to welcome the quintet around the charismatic singer Johanna Sadonis for the first time in the Harz mountains: LUCIFER at ROCKHARZ 2020!

SIBIIR

SIBIIR belong on the must-see list of all those who love energetic live shows. The Norwegians only formed in 2014, but have been taking the scene by storm since their debut album “Sibiir” (2016). Hardcore from Norway is not something you hear every day, and the guys have little in common with genre standards. You can rather expect a rough mixture of Extreme Metal, Hardcore and Punk, as celebrated by Kvelertak and others. Last autumn, the third album “Ropes” was released, and in July, there will be the ROCKHARZ debut. Look forward to a proper demolition!

UNCURED

Influences from Children Of Bodom over Gojira to Whitechapel. Doesn’t that sound like a fascinating and extreme mixture? Great, because that’s exactly what UNCURED stand for. The US Americans have only been on the road since 2014, but last fall they released their second album “Epidemic” and completely blew us away. We just had to get them – for the first time at ROCKHARZ: UNCURED!
